ESPN MLB 2K5 Passed Ball Bug

When I first bought ESPN MLB 2K5 I thought it was awesome. I also had MVP Baseball 2005 but ESPN MLB 2K5 is much better. The graphics, gameplay and overall control of ESPN MLB 2K5 are great, but there was one issue I had after I played a few games. Whenever I got runners on second and third base, when the computer pitched pitched, a passed ball happened. The first time this happened, I didn't think it was anything, just another cool real-life feature that the game included. But when it happened to different batters in a row in the same inning, I knew something was up. So I looked around online and found that others had the same problem. Someone came up with the solution of going into the "Difficulty" options and setting "Errors" for both you and the CPU to "50". So I tried this solution and it worked. Although now my players were making these stupid errors every game. I averaged around 3 errors per game. I got frustrated with this so I went into the "Difficulty" options and set "Errors" for me at "10" and left the CPU errors at "50". Then I played a game to see what would happen and there weren't any passed balls in the entire game. Out of the ten games that I played, there was only 1 passed ball. So now for all of you ESPN MLB 2K5 fans, you can play a game without the passed ball bug and not have your players make stupid errors. Or you can just take errors off. Your choice. Let me know if you came to another solution to the passed ball bug.

PS3 Prices May Be High

Today I found an article about PS3 costing $399 because it may cost up to $490 to manufacture, so Sony will sell it at $399 and take a loss. The article is: "Sony to take $100 loss on $399-priced PS3, says new report" by Rob Fahey. I don't know about others but I'm not going to spend $399 just for PS3. I am an active PlayStation 2 video game player but $399? Come on, that's too high for me. I have a lot of other bills to pay and my future with my fiancee to look forward to, rather than paying that much for a game system. Don't get me wrong, I want to get PS3, but not at $399. Maybe the price will drop around Christmas time (of whichever year PS3 comes out) or a year after it initially comes out. GameSpy has a forum about the PS3 price tag, check it out.

My Favorite Show on TV

Right now my favorite show on TV has to be Chappelle's Show. If you haven't seen it yet, where have you been? Get cable and put Comedy Central on. It is the funniest thing I've seen on TV. The skits that Dave and his cast do are just hilarious. Everyone is still talking about the Rick James and Charlie Murphy episode where Charlie talks about times where he's had to kick Rick's ass and keep him in check. It's where the semi over-used phrase "I'm Rick James bitch!" came from. LOL The episode also tries to re-live those times with Dave Chappelle playing Rick James and Charlie Murphy playing himself. That episode is the best one to date. If you don't have seasons 1 and 2 on DVD yet, what are you waiting for. I have both and watch one of them when I need a laugh. You can get the DVDs now on Amazon.com.

Half-Life 2 Aftermath Update

I am a big Half-Life fan and Half-Life 2 fan. I have posted some screenshots of the game on my All About Half-Life & Half-Life 2 web page. I can't wait for "Aftermath" a new episode that takes place after Half-Life 2. You can read an interview with Robin Walker (designer/programmer) on GameSpot.com about Half-Life2 Aftermath. I will try and keep up to date with Half-Life 2 Aftermath and post anything I find here. So check back soon if you're a Half-Life fan.
