Cam Neely, inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame

Cam NeelyIn Toronto on Monday night, Cam Neely was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. He is 40 years old and was recently named Boston Bruins ambassador. In his All-Star career, Neely played 726 regular season games, scored 395 goals and had 299 assists. For playoff stats, he had 55 goals, and 89 points in 93 playoff games. He had to retire in 1996 at 31 years old because of injuries. Cam Neely was the one who created the type of hockey player, power-forward. He wouldn't go around you to score, he would go right through you. Knock you down, take the puck and score. All Boston Bruins fans miss him but wish him the best. There's a great article on Cam Neely by Scott Burnside on ESPN.com.
