Upcoming Web 2.0 software of 2006

An interesting article I saw on Web2Journal.com by Dion Hinchcliffe named "The Most Promising Web 2.0 Software of 2006" where Dion Hinchcliffe talked about new Web 2.0 software that is available. A lot (if not all) of the Web 2.0 software is somehow using Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript And XML), which currently seems to be the hottest thing right now in the web world. Haven't heard of AJAX? Well read Jesse James Garrett's popular article, "Ajax: A New Approach to Web Applications" to find out. I'm currently trying to take time to read up about Ajax and to try things on my home computer. I'll let you know if I create anything cool with Ajax.
