Google's miserable failure search results has been 'fixed'

Google has 'fixed' the "miserable failure" Google bomb, which was when someone searched "miserable failure" on Google and the first result was President Bush's bio page. You can read more about this on SearchEngineLand.com. Even though this is 'fixed' on Google, it's not fixed in real life because George Bush is still President and he has been a miserable failure as the President.

Happy Martin Luther King day

I wanted to say happy Martin Luther King day to everyone. I hope people know what today is about, it's not just another holiday you get off from work. This is a day to honor a great man for all of the work he did for civil rights and for minorities. You can read Martin Luther King Jr.'s biography on NobelPrize.org.

Martin Luther King Jr.

Below are a few Martin Luther King Jr. quotes from QuotationsPage.com:
"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter."

"Now, I say to you today my friends, even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: - 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.'"

"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."

Miserable failure search brings up George Bush

Well this past week I learned that apparently a lot of webmasters have created links that use the phrase "miserable failure" on their sites that link to the White House's official biographical page for President Bush. So if you perform a Google Search of "miserable failure" the first result will be Bush's biography. You can read Google's Blog post about this. I find this quite funny.

My first post of 2007, Best Video Games of 2006

Well I want to say Happy New Year to everyone. I hope everyone had a Happy Holiday season and a Happy New Year day. I know I did as I spent New Years day with my loving fiancee. This will be my first post of 2007, oh yea!

Today I was looking on GameSpy.com and saw that they put together a Top 10 List for 2006 of the biggest video game-related stories of this past year. I know video game junkies would like this. GameSpy.com has also put together a 2006 Game of the Year section for about every gaming system you can think of.

Some notes about my favorite video games and where they were ranked in the Game of the Year lists from GameSpy.com.
