The Walking Dead episodes 10 and 11

I've been busy lately so I haven't had the time to blog about the past two episodes of The Walking Dead so I will do a quick summary of both here.

The Walking Dead, Season 2 Episode 10 was named "18 Miles Out" and it mainly focused on Rick and Shane fighting over what to do with Randall. Rick and Shane drive 18 miles out from the farm house, but before reaching 18 miles, they stop and talk. Rick tells Shane, making it clear, that Lori, Carl and Lori's unborn baby are all his and not Shane's. They find a public works station and decide to leave Randall there. As they start to leave Randall is pleading with them to not leave him and says that he went to school with Maggie. Shane assumes since he knows who Maggie is then he knows where the farm is located and he attempts to shoot Randall but Rick tackles him. Rick and Shane then begin fighting after Shane says that he doesn't think Rick can keep Lori and Carl safe. After punching each other, Shane throws a large wrench at Rick, Rick ducks and the wrench breaks through the building window. Walkers start coming out and Shane runs and barricades himself in a school bus. Rick kills a few walkers before getting to Randall and they show Rick and Randall walking away from the bus that Shane is trapped in. Just when you think Shane is a goner, Rick and Randall come driving through the gate to rescue Shane. Rick shoots walkers as he hangs out the passenger window while Randall drives. They drive to the back of the bus and Shane runs and exits the back door of the bus and gets into the car as they escape.

Back at the farm, Beth tries to kill herself but didn't cut herself deep. Andrea wants Lori and Maggie to give Beth a choice to do what she wants. Click read more below to see the highlight videos and for the quick summary of last week's episode.

The Walking Dead, Season 2 Episode 11 was named "Judge, Jury, Executioner" and it starts with Daryl beating up Randall trying to get him to talk. Randall says there was about 30 people in the group he was with and that some of the men have raped women before, but says "he ain't like that." He also says that they are heavily armed with automatics. Daryl tells everyone what Randall told him and Rick says that he's a threat and he has to go but Dale wants to talk to everyone first before deciding on Randall's fate. Carl somehow gets inside the slaughter shed, where Randall is being kept, and just stares at him while Randall tries to get Carl to free him. Shane finds Carl in the shed and yells at him for being in there. Carl walks to Daryl's camp area, touches the bike, takes the handgun from the pouch and goes into the forest. He comes across a walker stuck in the mud of a creek bed and he starts throwing rocks at it. Carl gets closer and points the handgun at it but the walker gets free and tries to get at Carl. Carl falls to the ground and drops the handgun. The walker grabs his leg but Carl is able to get away. Carl comes back to the farm house as the adults are gathering to talk about Randall's fate. Dale argues not to kill Randall and Andrea surprisingly takes Dale's side but everyone else sees him as a threat and they outnumber Dale and Andrea. Dale says "This group is broken" as he leaves. Later at night, Rick is about to kill Randall but Carl enters the barn and Rick can't do it. They put Randall back in shed and head back to camp. Dale is walking through the field and hears an animal. He goes to check it out and finds a dying cow that's been attacked. He turns around and the walker that Carl found stuck in the mud is there and attacks Dale. The others hear Dale's screams. Daryl is first on the scene and kills the walker but it's too late, as Dale is seriously wounded. Hershel says that Dale can't be saved. Carl sees the walker that he encountered earlier and starts crying knowing it's his fault that Dale was attacked. Rick can't shoot Dale, so Daryl shoots him.
The Walking Dead, Season 2 Episode 11 was named "Judge, Jury, Executioner" highlight video
There's only two episodes left this season. Here's a sneak peek preview of this Sunday's episode.
Sneak Peek Episode 212 The Walking Dead: Better Angels
The preview for the upcoming episode that was shown on TV after last week's episode showed T-Dog checking on Randall and he was gone and it showed a bloody Shane telling Rick that "he" (I'm assuming Randall) surprised him. It also showed a few walkers having someone or something for a meal. The preview above shows Rick saying that they're going to let Randall go. So what I think is going to happen is, Rick lets Randall go and Shane maybe kills him or lets walkers attack him and he comes back making it look like Randall attacked him. We'll have to wait until Sunday to see what happens next. I've also read online some are thinking that Merle is the leader of this other group of people. It's possible but I wouldn't think so. The "Governor" storyline from the comic book will be in next season's episodes so I think this group of people that Rick and the others encountered are probably people from the "Governor's" group. They have to make the storyline somehow connect with the "Governor" so maybe Randall escapes and gets back to his group and then somehow it leads to the two groups meeting or fighting each other. If you haven't read the comic book but are interested (like myself) you can check out The Walking Dead wikia site and go to the comics section to read a quick summary of each volume.
